UPSSSC Forest Guard Eligibility Criterias 2023

The following are the requirements for eligibility for the position of Vanrakshak (Forest Guard) in the Van Vibhag (Forest Department) in terms of education, age, physical fitness, and running.

Educational Qualification

UPSSSC PET 2022 Scorecard
One must have passed the Intermediate exam from a recognised board with at least 50% score.

Age Limit

One’s age must not be below 18 and above 40 years as of 1st July 2023.

Physical Eligibility

Male – 168 cm Height, if the candidate belongs to ST, he must be at least 160 cm tall.
Female – 150 cm Height, if the candidate belongs to ST, zhe must be at least 82 cm tall.

Running

Male: One can run 25 kilometres in 4 hours with a weight of 10 kilograms.
Female: One can run 14 kilometres in 4 hours.

UPSSSC Vanrakshak Bharti Application Fee 2023

Depending on the applicant’s category, there are different application fees for the Forest Guard. The cost is fixed at $25 for general, OBC, SC, ST, and EWS applicants. Similar to that, people with disabilities (like Divyang) must also pay a 25 fee. Both an E Challan and the I Collect Fee Mode of the State Bank of India (SBI) are acceptable methods of payment.
