The PM Vishwakarma Yojana is a brand-new program that was recently launched. It plans to make loans to nearby employees who are vital to the rural economy. The registration procedure has already begun on pmvishwakarma.gov.in and will be completed by the end of 2023.

PM Vishwakarma Yojana Registration

The PM Vishwakarma Yojana, also known as the PM Vishwakarma Kaushal Samman, makes it easy to acquire collateral-free financing of up to Rs 3 lakh at a 5% p.a. interest rate for four years. This is a central sector project launched by the MoMSME (Ministry of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises) that offers services to craftsmen and craftspeople in certain trades such as market linkage support, skill training, and encouragement for electronic transactions.

The first loan tranche will be issued once the borrower has completed the five to seven days of basic training provided by MSDE. Skilled customers who have repaid the first tranche loan in full, kept a standard loan account, integrated electronic transactions in their business, or completed advanced training will be eligible for the second loan tranche. PM Vishwakarma Yojana Skill Development

Borrowers can engage in vocational training programs through the PM Vishwakarma Kaushal Samman program. After 5-7 days of basic training, the borrower would be paid a training stipend (Rs 500/day) into the bank account associated with their Aadhaar via DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer). Interested students can also apply for 15 days of advanced instruction at specific training facilities. Throughout the training period, free board and lodging will be provided.

PM Vishvakarma Yojana Marketing Assistance

The National Committee for Marketing (NCM) will provide marketing help to the borrowers in their chosen fields. Establishing a physical and online presence for the goods and services, brand building, product packaging, design and development, advertising at trade exhibitions, relationships with exporters, and product listing on e-commerce websites are all part of the support. The costs of the following categories will be covered by the NCM Quality Certificates.

PM Vishwakarma Yojana Qualifications

The candidate must be a self-employed artist or craftsperson working in one of the unorganized or informal sector’s 18 authorized family-based traditional trades (mentioned below). On the day of registration, a candidate must be at least 18 years old.

In the past five years, the applicant should not have taken out loans through analogous central or state credit-based programs for self-employment or company growth, such as PM SVANidhi, PMEGP, or MUDRA.

Borrowers from MUDRA and SVANidhi who have paid off their loans in full, on the other hand, may apply for a loan under PM Vishwakarma. The five-year period begins on the date the loan is approved. A candidate who is employed by a state or federal government agency, along with his or her spouse and any unmarried children.

Vishwakarma Yojana Important Documents

Aadhaar Card, Bank Account Information, and Ration Card (Applicants must give the Aadhaar numbers of all members of their family if they do not already have a ration card) are required documents for PM Mobile Number for Vishwakarma Yojana.
