Oil India Limited Recruitment 2023 – Oil India Limited (OIL) has published a notice for the hiring of 31 mechanics and operators on a strictly contractual basis for immediate engagement at Field Headquarters, Duliajan. Candidates that meet the requirements may apply here.

1. Contractual Drilling/ Workover Operator

Educational Qualification:

(i) Graduated from a government-recognized education board with a Class 10 diploma.

(ii) Graduated from a polytechnic recognized by the government with a 03 (three) year degree in any engineering discipline.

(iii) Must have at least 02 (Two) years of post-degree work experience in drilling and workover-related activities, such as drilling and workover operations, the ability to operate the brake during any workover operation, the raising and lowering of the workover mast, and rig floor operations such as making and lowering BHA and tripping in and out of tubular, among others.

(i) A Bachelor’s degree in the science stream from an institution with government recognition is required.

(ii) Must have at least 02 (Two) years of post-degree work experience in drilling and workover activities, such as drilling and workover operations, the ability to operate the brake during any workover operation, the raising and lowering of the workover mast, and rig floor operations such as making and lowering BHA and tripping in and out of tubular, among others.

(i) The Class 10 exam must have been passed by a government-recognized education board.

(ii) Must possess a trade certificate from a government-recognized institution in any of the following trades: Diesel Mechanic, Fitter, Electrician, Turner, Welder, Motor Mechanic, or Machinist.

(iii) Must have at least 05 (Five) years of experience working in the drilling and workover industries. Examples of these activities include drilling and workover operations, the ability to operate brakes during workover operations, rig down and rig up operations, raising and lowering of workover masts, and rig floor operations such as making and lowering BHAs and tripping in and out tubular, among others.

2. Contractual Drilling/ Workover Mechanic

Educational Qualification:

(i) Graduated from a government-recognized education board with a Class 10 diploma.

(ii) Graduated from a polytechnic recognized by the government with a 03 (three) year diploma in mechanical engineering or automobile engineering.

(iii) Must have a minimum of 02 (Two) years of post-degree experience in a relevant field, such as engine maintenance and operation, pump and compressor maintenance and operation, generating set maintenance and operation, laying and connecting high pressure lines, etc. in drilling and workover wells in any E&P organization.

3. Contractual Drilling/ Workover Assistant Operator

Educational Qualification:

(i) The Class 10 exam must have been passed by a government-recognized education board.

(ii) You must possess a trade certificate from a government-recognized institute in one of the following trades: diesel mechanic, fitter, electrician, welder, motor mechanic, or machinist.

(iii) Must have at least 02 (Two) years of experience working in the drilling and workover industries, including rig floor operations like creating and lowering BHA, double and throbble board operations like tripping in and out tubular, etc.

4. Contractual Drilling/ Workover Assistant Mechanic

Educational Qualification:

(i) Graduated from a government-recognized education board with a Class 10 diploma.

(ii) A trade certificate in diesel mechanics from an organization recognized by the government.

(iii) Must have at least 02 (Two) years of post-degree experience in a related field, such as engine maintenance and operation, pump and compressor operation, generating set operation, laying and connecting high pressure lines, etc. in drilling and workover wells in any E&P organization.
