GATE 2024 Registration
A large number of applicants who were eagerly awaiting the announcement of the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering 2024 are informed that it is released officially by the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore on the recently launched webportal, which is accessible at https://gate2024.iisc.ac.in/. Registration for GATE 2023 will begin on August 24 and last until September 29, 2023.
GATE 2023 Exam Pattern
The exam pattern for GATE 2024 will be as follows:
- Mode of Examination: Online
- Examination Duration: 3 hours
- Questions: 65 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs)
- Marking Scheme: Each correct answer will be awarded 1 mark, and each incorrect answer will be penalized by 0.25 marks. There will be no negative marking for unattempted questions.

GATE 2024 Cut Off
The expected cutoff for GATE 2024 will depend on the following factors:
- The difficulty level of the exam
- The number of applicants
- The number of available seats
The cutoff for GATE 2023 was as follows:
- General: 30.7
- OBC (NCL)/EWS: 27.6
- SC/ST/PwD: 20.4
The cutoff for GATE 2024 is expected to be slightly higher than the cutoff for GATE 2023. However, it is impossible to say for sure what the cutoff will be.
